Walter Van Beirendonck x IKEA "Glödande" Tiger rug

Limited edition art rug from the 2016 collaboration between the Scandinavian furniture retailer IKEA and belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck, who also created the label W&LT (Wild And Lethal Trash) and graduated from the highly respected Royal Academy of arts as a part of the legendary Antwerp Six.

The rug is a character "Kwade Tijger" from the Wondermooi. "Wondermooi are the children of the clouds, they are strange creatures living together in harmony, a fantastic mix of shapes, colours, fur, feather and skin". - Walter Van Beirendonck.
